You Wont Believe What Gal Gadot Got Paid For Wonder Woman
You Wont Believe What Gal Gadot Got Paid For Wonder Woman Gal Gadot AKA Wonder Woman is pretty much killing it. If youve been lucky enough to see the film, you know that the 31-year-old actress is one of the fruchtwein inspiring ladybosses in recent history (P.S. she was also pregnant with her second child during much of the filming.) But while the movies been a huge hit largely because of Gadots kickass performance and it even made history as the bestselling opening of all time for a woman-directed film, bringing in $100.5 million in domestic sales during its opening weekend Gadots pay for the role just doesnt seem to add up. What did she make? For one of this years biggest films, Gadot was paid just $300,000. Back in 2014, she agreed to do three movies with Warner Bros. Batman v Superman, Wonder Woman, and Justice League all for this same rate, according to The Daily Dot. Perhaps Gadots next task as Wonder Woman should be to crush the gender pay gemeinsame agrarpolitik, which permeates all industries, including Hollywood. While Katy Perry recently celebrated the fact that shes making more than male judges have made on American Idol, countless female celebs among them Jennifer Lawrence and Robin Wright have publicly discussed how the gender pay gap has plagued them. How does Gadots salary compare to what male actors have made for superhero roles? Robert Downey Jr. reportedly earns $50 million for each Iron Man Film which comes out to 166.66 times Gadots Wonder Woman salary. Of course, Gadot was not as well-known when she took on the role...but still, that gap seems unreasonably large. The first step in shrinking the gap, though, is acknowledging and publicizing it so at least were on the right track. And you can help bring transparency and attention to the gender pay gap by sharing your salary here.
